Miramar Tokatli
Born and raised in Syria, Miramar’s passion for dance began before she could even walk. With over 13 years of experience, she has immersed herself in the rich roots of belly dance and the traditional dances of the Middle East, including Oriental dance, Dabke, Samai, Tarrab, and Bedouin styles.
Mira’s professional journey started in the Middle East, eventually leading her to Brisbane, Australia, and then France, where she established herself as a celebrated performer and instructor.

Miramar has graced the stages of prestigious events presenting her culture and art, such as (in Australia) Woodford Folk Festival, Mosaic Festival, Luminous Lantern Parade, Island vibes and was the co creator of Essence Bellydance Retreat in Brisbane.

Her Journey continued to Europe where she Established Miramar Amiens Center and co hosting Bellydance Bliss Retreat in Morroco. In addition to performing in international festivals like ODM in Spain, Baladi Fest in France, Tamam Yalla in Athens and much more..
Miramar’s style is a captivating fusion of her Syrian heritage, blending the authenticity and natural flow of oriental dance with the richness of traditional movement. Her artistry reflects a deep connection to her cultural roots and a lifelong devotion to the dance.
